Nativity is currently looking for volunteers in the following ways:
-Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (Eucharistic Ministers) to bring communion to folks at Orchard Heights. We are looking for people who are available on Thursday mornings. Please call Melissa if you can help! 662-9339 x 145
We are in the process of rotating the winter and summer clothing and taking inventory of our needs.
In the meantime, the following items are in VERY LOW SUPPLY.
2. baby wash and lotion
7. receiving blankets
8. bins, clean used or new (about 18 gallon size).
I know they are not as exciting to shop for compared to sweet
little outfits, but these basic items are so important for the care
of the babies!
Items can be placed in the wooden bins at the foot of the crucifix
in the narthex of the church. Also, items such as strollers, pack
n plays, walkers, etc are always welcome. We ask that you
please clean and prepare the items for immediate use as there are
no laundry facilities or space to clean items at the center.
If you have any questions, please call Melissa at 662-9339 ext 145 or email email@example.com.
We serve a hot dinner on the fourth Monday of the month.
What time? Volunteers should arrive between 3 and 4pm; we are usually finished up by 6:30. Come for the whole time or just a portion of it.
What do will I do? Prep food for dinner, serve, clean up, visit with the guests.
Where is it? 75 Caldwell, Lackawana (off of Ridge)
Do I need to sign up in advance or can I just show up to help? You can just show up – we will be so happy to see you!
If you have any questions, contact Melissa at firstname.lastname@example.org or 662-9339 x145.

Nativity and St. George’s Haiti Committee work in partnership in numerous ways to provide livestock, school tuition, water purification, medical supplies, etc for our twin parish.
We are twinned with our sisters and brothers in Haiti in the parish of St. Michael the Archangel, Coq Chante. We are committed in support of St. Michael’s Parish, clinic, school, water project and basic necessities for families. Their physical needs are an opportunity for us to give and in return receive the grace-filled prayers and blessings of the poor.
