 †Mysteries of Life in Reconciliation & Eucharist

Family Based combined First Reconciliation and First Eucharist preparation.

  • Parents of 2nd graders currently enrolled in Faith Formation or Nativity School, please pick up First Reconciliation materials in the Faith Formation Office.
  • Ages 8 & 9; typically, but not necessarily 3rd grade
  • Once Monthly 9 am Sunday Mass with  thirty minute Family Gatherings in the cafeteria afterwards.
  • Suggested donation of $40/family

Mysteries of Life Schedule 2017-18


Confirmation (typically, but not limited to High School Sophomores)

Students who will be entering their Sophomore year in High School in the Fall 2017  are invited to meet up with Father Bernard after or before any weekend Mass to briefly discuss approaching the Sacrament of Confirmation.

  • Please download, sign, and bring your signed Candidate’s Covenant with you.
  • At this time, you will be given a Prayer Assessment to be completed and returned.

CONFIRMATION NEWS updated 8/8/17:

  • Candidates should bring their Sponsors to meet with Father Bernard before or after any weekend Liturgy.  Please do this by August 13th. 
  • Also, those preparing to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation are welcomed to Mount Tabor Meeting Nights. Mt. Tabor meetings are scheduled once every two months on Monday evenings at 6pm, (see Faith Formation schedule for dates).

Faith Formation Enrollment 2017-2018




Faith Formation for everyone – families and singles alike. Deepen your faith, develop a closer relationship with Christ, grow in community and reach out in Apostolate to others. Children attend with parent or guardian. Sessions consist of some multi-generational and some “grouped by age” discussions.

  • All Ages – Children need to be accompanied by an adult.
  • Weekly August – May
    • Sundays with 9am Mass followed by
    • meetings in the cafeteria
  • Suggested donation of $15 for each adult and $10 for each child 3yrs – 12yrs old

ARISE Schedule 2017-2018


† Our Lady’s Lambs

A process of initiation into following Jesus, socialization into Christian traditions, and the Catholic community.  Children attend with their parent or guardian.  Entire families welcome!

    • Gathering after Mass in the cafeteria

Montessori-based process of faith formation for preschoolers.

Atrium Policy and Procedures

  • Level I – Ages 3-6
  • Thursdays at 4:15 – 5:15pm (Gather & pickup in the Atrium- Located in the “Upper Room” of the Activity Center)
  • Suggested donation of $40/child






† Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Level II New! (Level II is typically for ages 7-9)

Montessori-based process of faith formation for children in Grades 2-3. See above video for insight to what the Atrium is all about.

Atrium Policy and Procedures

  • Atrium Level II Grades 2-3 (Ages 7-9)

    • Monday 4:15-5:15 (Drop off & pickup in cafeteria)
    • Wednesdays 4:15-5:15 (Drop off & pickup in cafeteria)
    • Wednesdays 5:45-6:45 (Drop off & pickup in cafeteria)
    • Thursdays at 5:30pm – 6:30pm (Drop off & pickup in the Atrium, “Upper Room” of the Activity Center)
  • Monday and Wednesday groups will follow the Children’s Connection Schedule.
  • Monday and Wednesday groups will walk to the Atrium after opening prayer in the cafeteria.
  • Suggested donation of $40/child

† Children’s Connection

Liturgically based ritual, prayer, activities, and catechesis.  We meet in the cafeteria for community prayer before breaking up into smaller groups.

  • Classroom Format Typically Grades 4,5,6
  • Weekly Sessions September – May
    • Monday 4:15-5:15pm,  
    • Wednesday 4:15-5:15pm, or
    • Wednesday 5:45 – 6:45pm (choose one)

Small group discipleship meetings with occasional service events. Parents and friends are encouraged to form groups.

† Mt. Tabor Meeting Nights

Mount Tabor meetings will endeavor towards mission work at local sites such as Harvest House, St. Luke’s Mission, or perhaps with the parish Haiti Committee. In addition, the group may choose to participate in various Diocesan events, such as the Diocesan Youth Convention. Events and ideas may be added depending on the inspirations, gifts and charisms within the group. It promises to be a fun and worthy experience for all, friends are welcome and encouraged to join as well.

Mount Tabor meeting nights will be led by Seminarian Robert Contarin who has been assigned to our parish for the year. We welcome Rob as he continues to prepare to be a priest for our Diocese

  • Typically 10th grade and up
  • Once every other month
    • Mondays 6-7pm (see schedule)
  • Suggested donations $50/youth
