Some of our fellow Christians might not think so.  Catholics do indeed read the Bible.  Our Bible is unique and our way of reading it is unique.  Deacon Gary will be teaching a 5 week course entitle, “How Catholics Read the Bible.”  The course will examine the Catholic Bible, the way it is interpreted, and how our faith community is encouraged to read and live its messages.  The course begins on Thursday, May 4 from 6:30-8pm.  There is no charge, but please register by calling 662-9339 ext 145.

The monthly farmers market hosted by the Health Ministry will be returning soon.  Join us on Sunday, May 21 from 8am-1pm.

St. Vincent de Paul – Nativity Conference

St. Vincent de Paul is always in need of volunteers who can visit clients in Buffalo and Orchard Park to determine their needs.

Nativity’s SVDP conference has teamed with Habitat for Humanity to help build and restore houses in our area.  Volunteers are always needed.

If you can help with any of these ministries, please call Dennis at 308-7858 for more information.

 St. Gianna Molla Pregnancy Ourtreach

The Gianna Molla Pregnancy Center reaches out to women in need and supports mothers before and after childbirth.  We are collecting items to aid in the center’s efforts.  The most pressing needs at this time are baby bottles for newborns with 0+ (slow flow) nipples.  They are also in need of new or slightly used onesies and one piece sleepers in sizes newborn to 0-3 months.  Donated items can be placed in the wooden collection bins found under the large crucifix in the narthex.  Please call Kathy at 667-3173 with any questions.
